Let me clear one thing from the beginning; We are starting from the scratch of blogging and you will need to understand some things in order make progress here.

A blog is an online diary where the blogger (who post on his blog) post continuously and the blog is arranged in chronological order, meaning new post are on top while older post are below. Different types of blogs: You have both paid and free blogs. The disadvantage of free blog is that you are not in control and they will never give you an email address. Also, their policy could change and your account terminated.

Who should own a blog: Anyone can own a blog for different purpose. Individuals and businesses can own blogs. Blogs are used for fun or for business. But fundamentally, most people set up blogs because they want to earn money online.

Before you own a blog: Most people own blogs and never make any money from it. They set up blogs and nothing happens. This is simply because they do not know why they are setting up the blog. They are not prepared to make money. In order to make money from your blog, you must work. There is nothing like get rich quick online. You must therefore blog on what you are knowlegeable about. I am an author, internet business coach and a technical person who is a Computer and Internet geek, so I set up blogs related to these niches. This is how you should go about it.

How to Set up a free Blog; You will need to know the various platforms to set up a free blog. Anyone can set up a free blog. Open a free email address with gmail.com , visit blogger and sign in and set up your first blog and start posting.
